Inform your healthcare provider right now if you (or your child): may not be viewing as well as before beginning SABRIL; begin to trip, run across things, or are more awkward than usual Bookmarks; are surprised by things or people can be found in front of you that appear to come out of no place; or if your child is acting in a different way than normal.

SABRIL (vigabatrin) is a prescription medicine used with other therapies in adults and kids 2 years old and older with refractory complicated partial seizures (CPS) who have not responded all right to several other therapies and if the possible advantages surpass the danger of vision loss.

It is suggested that your doctor examination your (or your child's) vision prior to or within 4 weeks after beginning SABRIL and at least every 3 months throughout treatment up until SABRIL is stopped. Tell your healthcare provider if you or your youngster have any type of side effect that troubles you or that does not go away.

Tell your healthcare provider if you are expecting or plan to get pregnant. If vision screening can not be done, your healthcare provider may proceed prescribing SABRIL, but will not be able to watch for any kind of vision loss. If vision examinations are not done regularly, your doctor may quit prescribing SABRIL for you (or your child).
